The school committees of American Intercon School organized a study tour for 5th graders from all branches to Phnom Penh Safari Zoo which was located along Vimean Chneas Chneas Boulevard, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh on June 29, 2024.
This study tour was a great opportunity for students to gain more knowledge in addition to the lessons in the class, such as:
1. Learned about the largest zoo in Phnom Penh, which covers an area of more than 60 hectares.
2. Watched special performances from animals such as crocodiles, birds, tigers and orangutans, and mixed performances, all of which are carefully trained by expert teachers.
3. Knew the names of various species of animals and understand more about the diverse environment, including the geography of Phnom Penh Zoo, Safari and around the study tour area.
4. Gained a lot of new knowledge and have the motivation to participate in promoting tourism, environment and wildlife conservation.
5. Strengthened friendships, solidarity, increased courage and experience in interpreting, collaborating, leading, independence, ownership, team communication and public relations.
6. Reflected on the content of the lesson, gained new knowledge and freshen feelings while visiting there, as well as when returning home.
